Since 2014 PCQ is one of the groups belonging to the National Forum of Music – which is the cultural institution of the City of Wrocław, co-governed by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage, the Community of Wrocław and the Lower Silesian Province.
The Art of Music Foundation has been established on the initiative of the Polish Cello Quartet whose ambition, apart from its artistic activity, is to create projects for young artists.
The members of PCQ are the founders and organizers of the International Cello Academy. Every year ICA gathers many distinguished professors from countries all over the world, and also may students – cellists. Its mission is to promote chamber music written exclusively for cellos.
